How to choose your dinghy sailing clothing
The right choice depends on water temperature, wind strength and class. For cold seasons go for thicker wetsuits (3 mm) paired with a windproof spray top; in mid-season a 1 or 2 mm long john with a thermal rash vest gives freedom of movement. For trapeze classes (49er, 470), seat and knee reinforcements and a snug fit that doesn't restrict on-board adjustments are essential.
