Summer wetsuits are the lightweight long johns and tops built for hot days and intensive training. They deliver essential thermal protection and maximum freedom of movement for sailors on Optimist, ILCA (Laser), 420/470, RS Feva, RS Aero, Nacra and other dinghy classes. For more than 50 years we have selected gear for competitive light-weather sailing.

How to choose a summer wetsuit

In summer, breathability and stretch matter more than thickness: rather than focusing on millimetres, look at the construction technology of the garment. On windier days you can layer a lightweight top or a lycra over the long john, building the right system even into the mid-season.
