Warranty Requests

At Negrinautica we treat every product with the same care we use when choosing it for you. The warranty is our promise: if an item shows a manufacturing defect, we are on your side to resolve it.

For the assessment to be quick and smooth for everyone, it helps to understand what the warranty covers and what instead is part of the normal life of a technical product. The warranty covers production defects — seams that give way without stress, faulty materials, non-compliant components. It does not cover natural wear from use, nor damage caused by improper care: these depend on how the item is used and stored, and good care almost always prevents them.

Neoprene: a fine material that needs attention

Neoprene garments (wetsuits, tops, accessories) are technical and resistant, but only last a long time if treated with respect. Here is what to avoid, to preserve their integrity and value over time:

  • Crushing and compression — Do not fold neoprene under weights for long periods, and do not leave it compressed in bags or drawers. The air cells that give it elasticity deform permanently. Damage from crushing is not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • Contact with velcro — Velcro is the number one enemy of neoprene seams and surfaces: its hooks tear threads and scratch the fabric. Always close the velcro straps on your gear before storing it or washing it together with other items.
  • Sun exposure — Colours, especially brighter shades, tend to fade when exposed to direct light. Always dry in the shade, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Heat sources and aggressive washing — Never use radiators, tumble dryers, hairdryers or direct sunlight to speed up drying. Avoid washing machines, spin cycles and harsh detergents.
  • Proper care — Rinse after every use in lukewarm fresh water, without wringing or twisting. Dry in the shade, hung on a wide hanger or laid flat. Store the item dry, in a cool, ventilated place, away from oils, sunscreen and solvents.

A smooth request starts here

Before sending a request, we invite you to carefully examine your item: telling a production defect apart from a sign of use or accidental damage is the first step so that everything proceeds as smoothly as possible. A well-considered request is the premise for a quick response and for the relationship of trust we care about building with you.

How to submit your request

The Warranty Request form consists of two pages: download both files below, fill them out in full (customer details, purchase details, product details and description of the defect) and attach the required photos (whole product, close-up of the defect, brand label, size label).

Warranty Form – Page 1
Warranty Form – Page 2

Once fully completed in every part, please send the complete form (both pages) by email to info@negrinautica.com.

Our team will review your request with the utmost care and will get back to you as soon as possible.
