Olympic Origins

The Foil Aero Bib was developed together with Olympic Nacra 17 foil athletes Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti, Tokyo 2020 gold medallists. In foil classes, where boats fly at consistently high speeds and the body is fully exposed to airflow, every detail of the apparel impacts performance. The bib is no longer just a protective garment: it becomes an active component of the athlete's aerodynamic system.

Micro-Grooved Aerodynamic Fabric

At the heart of the Foil Aero Bib is the Aero Stretch Jersey fabric (80% Polyester, 20% Elastane, 225 gsm), featuring a micro-grooved structure positioned in the most critical zones — where turbulence reduction has the greatest impact on performance. Wind-tunnel tested, this fabric reduces air resistance and remains stable on the body even when wet: unlike traditional lycra, the Foil Aero Bib does not relax or lose structure in the water, continuing to perform at high speeds.
